CycleBy Privacy Policy

What CycleBy Is

CycleBy is a credit-card payment and billing-cycle organizer. It helps you keep track of statement closing dates, payment due dates, balances, and payment history for your own credit cards, and can remind you before a payment is due.

Information CycleBy Stores

To provide these features, CycleBy stores information you enter, entirely on your own device: card nickname, issuing bank name, and the last four digits of your card (never the full card number); statement closing day, payment due day, APR, credit limit, current balance, and minimum payment; records of payments you mark as made, including amount and date; your notification and utilization-target preferences; and whether you've completed onboarding. CycleBy never asks for, and does not store, your full card number, CVV, PIN, bank username or password, or Social Security Number.

Where Your Information Lives

All of this information is stored locally on your device, in a private database that only CycleBy can access. CycleBy does not require you to create an account, and there is no CycleBy server that receives, stores, or processes your card or payment information. Your financial information never leaves your device.

Notifications

If you choose to enable reminders, CycleBy schedules local notifications on your device — for example, a reminder a few days before a payment is due. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely by your device's operating system, not sent from a remote server. Enabling them requires your explicit permission, which you can change at any time in your device's Settings.

Device Information

CycleBy does not collect device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or other device-level information.

Third Parties

CycleBy does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking services, and does not share, sell, or transmit your financial information to any third party.

Data Retention

Your information remains on your device for as long as you keep CycleBy installed. CycleBy does not automatically delete or expire data.

Removing Your Information

You can deactivate a card at any time from within the app, which removes it from your active card list; deactivated cards and their payment history remain stored on your device unless you uninstall the app. Uninstalling CycleBy removes all of its locally stored data from your device. CycleBy does not currently offer a way to delete individual payment records from within the app. If you have questions about your data, contact us below.

What CycleBy Is Not

CycleBy is an organizational tool. It does not provide financial advice, investment advice, credit counseling, or personalized financial recommendations.

Children

CycleBy is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your region).

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above.
